Demographic change
[edit]The demographic section is too old. Isn't there a need to update that? And are Balti people and Tibetan people same? Someone is considering the people of Baltistan as Tibetan, but there is a different page for Baltis which states they are not same. Govt of Pakistan states there are about 6000-7000 actual Tibetans. Is that a good source or correct knowledge? Suggestions please. SReader21 (talk) 20:47, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- @SReader21: Yes, the article should ideally only include Tibetans, not related Tibetic/Tibetan people such as Balti, Sherpa, Dzongkha, Monpa, Lepcha, Bhotiya, Limbu, Lahauli, Kinnauri etc, and out of these only Baltis are mentioned here, thus removed it. But can you please provide source for the 6000-7000 Government of Pakistan figure? If such a source exists then Pakistan can be added in the list with this figure. Unpetitprole (talk) 19:09, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the confirmation. And no, I can't find that article about the Pakistani Government anymore. It possibly has been removed from that website. 202.142.90.220 (talk) 19:32, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
